Denominations...

My View on Denominations
1. A religious denomination will never qualify a person for heaven.
Membership in a church group or denomination cannot save anyone. Heaven is entered only through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Adonai Yeshua Ha Mashiach)—not through labels, traditions, or church affiliations.
2. As a former army officer, I view denominations as military units serving under one Commander.
Just as an army has many specialized units—infantry, commandos, armored divisions, paratroopers, administration, air force, and navy—so the Church has diverse denominations. They function differently but should all serve under one Commander-in-Chief: Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah).
3. The Bible is the common constitution of every true Christian local church.
Every soldier stands under a national constitution; likewise, every believer must stand under Scripture. Anyone who aligns with the clear teachings of the Bible—as expressed in the Statement of Faith below—is part of the Body of Messiah and qualified for the Kingdom.
4. I was born and raised in a traditional Pentecostal environment, but I am not a denominationalist.
I respect denominations, but I do not take my identity from any human group. My identity is in Messiah alone, and Scripture remains my highest authority and final standard.
5. All Christians are not necessarily Disciples of Messiah.
Many carry the name “Christian,” but not all walk in obedience to Yeshua’s teachings. A disciple is not merely a churchgoer but someone who submits to the Word of Elohim and lives according to sound doctrine—reflecting the biblical witness (martyr, Acts 1:8), willing to stand for truth even at the cost of life, without compromise.
6. Denominations are useful only when they serve the unity and mission of the Kingdom.
Denominations can preserve doctrine, provide structure, and strengthen believers—but only when they submit to Scripture and the Lordship of Messiah. When a denomination breeds division, pride, or man-made traditions, it abandons its purpose. True unity is produced not by institutions but by the Holy Spirit in those who obey the Word.
7. A disciple of Christ aligns with biblical truth in both belief and lifestyle.
True discipleship is measured by obedience to Scripture—not culture, opinions, or modern trends. While some Christians worldwide tolerate teachings contrary to Elohim’s Word, a Disciple of Messiah refuses compromise and chooses truth above everything.
